Tuesday 27 January 2026 1P Weekly Update w/e 23/01/26 This week, 1P explored the role of adjectives to describe something. They created a habitat for the Plesiosaurus dinosaur and labelled it with adjectives.

Friday 16 January 2026 1H Weekly Learning w/e 16/01/26 In 1H we have been learning how to follow musical tracing patterns. This helps to develop the movements needed for correct letter formation, as well as hand eye coordination.

Friday 12 December 2025 French Weekly Learning w/e 12/12/12 1H learnt actions to accompany the French Christmas song Vive le Vent, taking it in turns to throw boules de neige! Then we did a class vocabulary challenge, choosing suitable cadeaux for the characters we know.

Tuesday 9 December 2025 1H Weekly Learning w/e 05/12/25 Our Year 1 children shone brightly in their Nativity performance, retelling the story of The Little Angel Who Lost Her Wings with confidence and joy. They sang beautifully, acted with enthusiasm, and showed such kindness helping the little angel find her wings again. We are so proud of their hard work and the magical Christmas spirit they brought to the stage!’
