Tuesday 27 January 2026 2 Year Old Nursery Weekly Learning w/e 23/01/26 This week children had fun pretending to be firefighters. They drove fire engines, put out fires using spray bottles and took phone calls in the fire station.

Tuesday 20 January 2026 2 Year Old Nursery Weekly Learning w/e 16/01/26 This week we have been learning about builders. We had lots of fun putting diggers, dump trucks and bulldozers into paint and watching the muddy vehicles roll across the paper leaving tracks and changing directions as they moved.

Friday 9 January 2026 2 Year Old Nursery Weekly Learning w/e 09/01/25 We welcomed new children to our nursery this week. We spent time together on the carpet playing simple games to learn everyone's names. It helped the children feel settled and confident while also showing them how to take turns and listen to one another. The existing children were great role models!

Friday 12 December 2025 2 Year Old Nursery Weekly Learning w/e 12/12/25 This week we talked about preparing for Christmas. The children shared the pictures of their Christmas trees from home and were very creative decorating green branches with baubles, chains and dried oranges.

Tuesday 9 December 2025 2 Year Old Nursery Weekly Learning w/e 05/12/25 This week we opened a Christmas workshop in our nursery. The children had a great time building their own toys with blocks, wrapping them in festive paper and measuring the presents.

Friday 28 November 2025 2 Year Old Nursery Weekly Learning w/e 28/11/25 This week we started talking about winter. We read Penguin and Pinecone, a friendship story and talked about what makes us a good friend. We learnt a lot about penguins and played with sensory snow.

Friday 21 November 2025 2 Year Old Nursery Weekly Learning w/e 21/11/25 This week we celebrated Road Safety Week. During carpet sessions we talked about crossing the road only on pedestrian crossings and holding an adult's hand. During our play, we acted out how to be safe road users.
